boys & girls club

AUSTIN, TX

American Campus Communities asked Studio Dzo and and STG to collaborate on designing a $14 million, 32,000 square-foot home for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area. Our gail was to create a vibrant haven for young people that sparks imagination and fosters creativity and curiousity.

Throughout the campus, we integrated a diverse array of functional and experiential signage elements. ADA signage, wayfinding directionals, a drive-up monument, and a digital message center ensure the campus is accessible and easy to navigate. To honor the generous donors, we created stained glass-inspired awards that are seamlessly integrated into the hexagonal reception lattice wall, creating a lasting tribute.

In each classroom, bold wall and window graphics create a dynamic and uplifting atmosphere. The vibrant colors and engaging visuals ignite curiosity, encourage exploration, and empower students to reach for the stars.

This project is a testament to the transformative power of partnership and design. Demonstrating that when good work is done with good people for good people, the results can be truly inspiring.
